How We Work

A structured, transparent engineering process so you know exactly what happens,
what you’ll receive, and when.

No ambiguity. No surprises. Just defensible certification.

Scope

Assess

Verify

Certify

Built for clarity. Designed to remove risk.

We don’t just “review drawings.”
We follow a structured engineering process that defines assumptions, applies the right standards, and produces certification you can rely on.

Visual overview of the certification process from scope confirmation to issued certification.

Step 1: Scoping

First flick us a message on our contact page so we can book in a time to discuss  your project.  On the call, we start by clearly defining what needs to be certified, so there’s no ambiguity later.  We will discuss:

  • Review drawings, specifications and intended use
  • Define the certification scope (component, system or full structure)
  • Confirm deliverables and expectations

What you get:

A clearly defined scope,
fixed pricing,
and agreed deliverables

Timeframe:

1 – 2 business days

Step 2: Assumptions

Where inputs are incomplete, we define and document engineering assumptions upfront.

  • Material properties and constraints
  • Boundary conditions and supports
  • Design limitations
Every assumption is documented so there are no hidden risks later

Step 3: Standards

We define exactly what your design is being certified against.

  • Applicable codes (AS/NZS, ASME, ISO, etc)

  • Limit states and design criteria

  • Compliance framework

This ensures your certification is clear, defensible, and aligned with requirements.

Step 4: Load Cases

We model how your structure actually behaves in the real world, not just ideal conditions.

  • Dead, live, wind, seismic loads

  • Handling, transport, installation scenarios

  • Project-specific load cases

Real world loading = real confidence in performance.

Step 5: Verification

We apply the right level of engineering analysis based on risk and complexity.

  • Hand calculations
  • Code-based checks
  • Advanced analysis (FEA where required)
Not over-engineered. Not under-engineered. Just right.

Step 6: Reporting

You receive clear, professional documentation ready for approval, construction, or compliance.

  • Signed engineering certification
  • Supporting calculations
  • Marked-up drawings (if required)
  • Clear compliance statement

Documentation that stands up to scrutiny.

Timeframe:

3- 10 business days

Step 7: Revision Cycle

Projects evolve so we make updates fast and keep certification aligned.

  • Design updates reviewed quickly

  • Impacted elements reassessed

  • Revised certification issued

Built to keep your project moving.

Most engineers send a report.
We show you the process behind it.

Clarity

Every assumption and load case is documented

Confidence

Certification aligned with recognised standards

Speed

Defined process = faster turnaround
